Back in Ol'Blighty!!
Wet and Shivering!!!!
Unfortunately the funds have run dry and we have now both returned to the UK. Andy is now back at his old job in Bristol as Corporate Account Manager for BT, and Tina has recently undertaken employment with Flight Centre/Student Flights in Uxbridge, West London.
What a time we had in places such as crazy Bangkok, the lush green hills of Northern Laos, hectic paced Ho Chi Mihn City, strange dark underworld of Phnom Pehn, tropical paradise of Samui and Ko Pha Ngan, superb diving in Pulau Weh and driving 15,000km around the expanse outback of Australia.

Below is a general description of where we had planned to go and hopefully I will get more pics and info on asap.

Firstly, were flying out to Bangkok sometime towards the end of Jan. We'll take in all we can in the North of Thailand visiting Chaing Mai and whatever takes our fancy before setting off for Laos which we've heard is possibly the best SE Asian country at the mo (Kirky said so, 2000).
(Insurance & Tickets paid for, ended up having a wee panic as there were no more available flights on any of the cheaper airlines through STA, for any period we wanted to travel in. Trailfinders luckily found a similar deal on Air Garuda (phew). We're now set for Jan 29th). Then we'll nip across into and down through Vietnam, up through Cambodia back to Bangkok. Then down through Southern Thailand checking out the islands Ko Samui, Ko Pha Ngan and more on the East coast, and maybe Krabi Beaches on the West.
Then we'll head down through Malaysia, channel hop down through Sumatra, Java, Bali and Lombok of Indonesia flying out of Bali to Oz where we'll probably touch down in Cairns.
Work here for a bit, travel a bit, work some more we'll have to see. Then over to NZ where hopefully we'll get plenty of madcap things to do.
Sooner or later we'll head back stopping off on the way through India, and maybe come back through Europe during the Summer 2002, or maybe we'll just keep going...who knows?
